Working with SiC transistors for electric vehicles

People in EVs and industrial power electronics all recognize silicon carbide MOSFETs as modern technology. They can operate at higher voltages, switch faster, and handle heat better.

One of our engineers is currently building a test fixture to evaluate the performance of SiC power devices under controlled conditions.

Every project at Henway is a little different, and we love that. For example, the guy sitting in front of the guy building the SiC fixture is working on an ABS braking system. Behind him is an engineer working on an LED driver for explosion-proof LED lighting. After I took this picture, I went back to my design to work on a cellular pressure sensor data logger. 🤠
