We’ve recently had the opportunity to assist a customer in launching a new automotive product before the winter season. We were their ideal solution because they required rapid custom electronics development to test their mechanical prototypes but lacked electrical engineering expertise and were on a tight schedule.
After some brief conversions, we came up with a wireless system running on Bluetooth, enabling communication with the electronics from within the vehicle cab to control on/off functions, read live diagnostics, and log data during cross-country trips for performance evaluation. We have in-house production capabilities, so we plan to prototype a few samples rapidly and then quickly turn around the remaining units after validating the design. This strategy will give them weeks of additional testing and lower risk. This concept was key for them.
As we approach the final stages of the prototype, we are proud to have guided the customer through various project milestones. We have successfully defined the project’s scope of work, created comprehensive project requirements and hardware specifications documents, designed the schematic, completed the PCB layout, developed the firmware, and worked on the app. This progress is a testament to our expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality, full turn-key, custom electronics solutions.
We eagerly anticipate the customer’s test results. The next phase is bringing this innovative product to the market. We look forward to the opportunity to continue our collaboration and further enhance this product before their deadline.
